Infleum: A decentralised platform for all your brand promotion needs


Online advertising is in trouble. Although the Internet offers companies a way to reach more users at once than ever before with a far greater variety of tools than what had been available in the past, advertisers still struggle to make the best use of those capabilities. Aggressive marketing efforts have a way of backfiring, especially when they are blatantly commercial or coupled with obnoxious impositions on the public's Internet use. Vast amounts of money are wasted through flawed advertising efforts.
The search for more subtle and effective methods of brand promotion has led some companies to embrace brand publishing: Advertising through the production of valuable content by the brands themselves or by their influencer partners. However, this strategy has its own complications, such as the difficulty of measuring its impact, hassles in working out equitable arrangements with influencers and the reliance on exploitative middleman platforms. Elsol Company wants to bring all sorts of brand publishing activities together on its Infleum blockchain platform, supported with cutting edge advertising techniques and technologies.

How can you use Infleum?

Anyone will be able to register on the Infleum Platform, acquiring a INFLEUM Combined Wallet, and place advertising campaign requests for other users. The requester would generate a smart contract using its Smart Contract Agent Machine, inputting such information as the target audience, region, period, budget and the promotional activity types involved. Once it is joined by interested influencers, this smart contract will be stored on the blockchain. Payments, made in INFLEUM tokens (INFU) set aside by the advertiser, will be executed through an escrow function following an evaluation. If the conditions in the contract are not fulfilled or any illegal transactions are made, the funds placed in escrow upon the signing of the contract will be returned to the contract creator; otherwise, they will be automatically distributed as previously arranged.
The platform will track the activities and measure the performance of influencers using a special validation system. It will evaluate them based on the quantity and quality of their activities on the platform, determining the rewards that each influencer on the platform would be due according to a complex “proof of influence” formula. This information will be used to recommend both influencers and the appropriate reward level during smart contract creation. Their performance within a campaign would also determine the final reward distribution. Marketing on the platform could be automated and will be assisted by AI-powered big data analytics. While initially this system will combine an Ethereum sidechain with off-chain evaluation components, eventually Elsol plans to create an Infleum mainnet and move all of this platform's functions there.
The Infleum Platform will be easily integrated with external services through its publicly available APIs and SDKs, as well as the special Infinity Code identification system used in the Combined Wallet. Its system is also set up to easily support third-party dApps. Elsol itself will provide eight dApps to cover different sides of online marketing: REDITO, which would allow influencers to cooperate on their requesters' campaigns; REDINK, providing expert advice to companies; RETTEB, giving personalised recommendations to consumers; REDINERO, supporting crowdfunding with the help of a social credit system; REDICHECK, enabling trial reviews of products and services; CHANNELJOY, for video and audio content channels; SOCU, allowing users to shop online with social credit cards issued by other users; and REDITAIL, providing business support for small companies and startups. INFU tokens could be earned or spent in all those programs.

What sets Infleum apart from the rest?

Like most blockchain projects, Infleum offers a decentralised model that is at once cheaper and more reliable and affordable for all of its participants compared to the existing system. That promise should not be difficult to keep, given the inefficiency, waste and costly intermediary services that characterise the present advertising model. By using algorithms to automatically generate smart contracts and run marketing campaigns, Infleum promises to greatly increase efficiency while still keeping the client side of things as user-friendly as possible. Last but not least, it pledges to provide a large variety of interconnected services through its platform, while giving its users a great deal of freedom in determining how they wish to engage with it.
Elsol is an advertising company with almost thirty successful clients in different spheres and a solid grounding in the South Korean business world. The Infleum MVP, which generates smart contracts for advertising campaigns, is now available to users. Side by side with this project, Elsol has already launched Project REDI, a comprehensive brand promotion solutions package that also forms a major part of the platform (as could be seen in the names of some of its starting dApps).

A wide-ranging digital marketing proposal

It is broadly acknowledged that digital marketing is ripe for blockchain disruption. There are many competing projects in the field. Influencer marketing and brand publishing-based cryptocurrency projects are becoming popular in their own rights. While Elsol has set its sights on a potentially very lucrative goal, it will take some effort on its part to push aside all rivals.
The flexibility and wide range of services offered by Infleum may be both a strength and a weakness. By offering a large and potentially infinitely expanding set of functions, it could attract a more varied user base and produce a robust ecosystem. On the other hand, this may also be seen as a lack of focus. It does not help that the project documentation does not currently elaborate on its dApps and other services in any great detail. Still, with Elsol's preexisting business and experience underpinning this project, Infleum may prove to be a major player in the evolving field of online advertising.
